Based on the stunning island of Koh Yao Noi, situated only an hour by water from Phuket, the kayak camp offers an excellent back to nature experience. Koh Yao Noi is like Thailand 20 years ago - a cultural delight.

DESTINATIONS: Phang Nga Bay and Tha Khao Bungalow on Koh Yao Noi

SETTING: Beachfront bungalows near a quiet village on a beautiful island centered in Phang Nga Bay. Numerous excellent kayaking locations are within one hour by Fast Longtail boat. Our Managing Director's home village is within walking distance and mountain bikes are available

SKILLS: Calm water Sit-On-Top kayaking - basic instruction is provided.
Non-swimmers are required to wear a PFD (lifejacket).

LODGING: Built by our Managing Director Sonthorn Sagulsan from natural materials, Tha Khao Bungalows are first class, with real Western-style mattresses and toilets. Showers are cold water, but this is the Tropics. Each unit has a spacious 'lanai' with top quality Thai-style easy chairs.

ACCESS: One hour by Fast longtail boat from Ao Po. Ground transfer is 15 minutes from Phuket International Airport, 45 minutes from Patong

DAY ONE:
08:00-08:30: Pick-up from your Phuket hotel.
09:00 Depart from Ao Po or Bang Rong by fast longtail for the East Bay
10:00 Arrive Islands; Introductory kayak training
10:30 Explore the islands by kayak. Beach picnic lunch when you get hungry Continue to explore the islands, stay until sunset if you wish
18:00 Arrive at Tha Khao pier. Tuk-Tuk transfer to bungalows and check-in
20:00 (Or whenever) Fresh seafood dinner in Tha Khao's spacious restaurant
DAY TWO:
07:30 Wholesome Western-style breakfast
09:30 Depart Tha Khao pier. Circumnavigate First Island. Picnic lunch whenever. Motor to more islands and explore them by kayak
15:30 Take out and start for the pier
16:30 Return to pier and transfer to your hotel

We provide transfers, longtail boat, guide, breakfast, picnic lunches, dinner, all sort drinks, bungalows and kayaking. Non-swimmers must wear a PFD, (provided). If you wish to use inflatable kayaks, these must be reserved in advance.

What to Bring: Swimwear, T-shirts, shorts, long pants, long sleeved shirt, towel, sun hat, sunscreen (SPF 15 minimum), camera, lots of film, toiletries, sun-glasses, waterproof sandals or flip flops.
