The
Koh Phi Phi -- Hat Nopparat National Park officially covers the 2 km
Nopphara Thara Beach on the mainland, the Phi Phi islands, Koh Mai
Phai (bamboo island) and Koh Yung (mosquito island) as the marine
area. Koh Phi Phi Don is included in this National Park but it
should be put in the record book of National Park disgraces.
Development on Koh Phi Phi Don continues completely unchecked by the
National Park Authority.
All up, if you decide to
visit Koh Phi for the excellent snorkelling, you will be ver pleased
with your choice. If you visit to meet nice Thais or to have a
'cheap' break away from home, prepare yourself to be rudely
disappointed.
