Old
buildings of Phuket Town
Built more than 100 year, these building portray Thai characteristic and heritage although architecturally many
are blend of Chinese and European styles. Connoisseurs have
dubbed the buildings "Sino Portuguese", the
doors and windows have hand-crafted patterns of fine
workmanship. Some of these buildings have been used in films such as "The Killing Fields" and "The Beach".
Rang Hill (View Point of Phuket Town)
This provides a pleasant view of town as well as a series of hillside sculptural tableaux
which enhance the experience.
Phromthep
Cape
This cape is located at the southern tip of Phuket island. Easily accessible by car, the top part of this cape is a hill with a high cliff along the edge of the sea. From this
point you can look out to the sea and islands nearby. Many
tourists come here particularly in the evening to see the
sun setting below the horizon. They say that Phromthep cape
offers the best view
Wat
Chalong
This temple is Phuket's most beautiful and renowned
monastery. It enshrines the gilt statues of monk-hero Luang
Pho Chaem and his assistant Luang Pho Chuang, both much
revered by local people because of their roles in quelling
the miner rebellion in 1876. Afterwards transfer to you
hotel via Kata beach, Karon Beach and drop off at your
hotel.
