The Andaman sea of Thailand is a Marine Nationality park with approximately 15.000 qkm, and around 3.500 islands.
In this area you still find lots of rare birds like Hornbills and Fish-Eagles. Most of the smaller islands are not occupied and have plenty coral sand beaches for swimming.
The Andaman Sea are famous for their amazing limestone stalactites which have made it world famous. The islands are the rests of hugh coral-blocks.

Dauw Talae Cruise

The 25-metre wooden junk DAUW TALAE 2 (Star of the Sea) weighs 85 tones, and is one of the biggest and comfortable junks in South-West Thailand.
The convenient long chairs on the sun-deck makes your stay really relaxing.
The ship combines western comfort with Asian charm. The DAUW TALAE 2 was inspired by the 16th century Portuguese junk "Lorcha", build in China (Macao) ideal for fighting pirates.
The ship launched in December 1996, offers a huge 260 sqm of deck space on three levels. Its 8 guests and two crew cabins, one big deck house, a salon, and three sun decks accommodate 16 guests up to 2 weeks in style, served by six to seven crew members.
 Our 325 HP engine provide an average speed of 8 knots, about 8 nautical miles 
 (14,6 km) an hour.
