Blue Diamond Resort: A newly built resort, lying right on the waters' edge on Mae Haad Beach. The resort encompasses a little garden, restaurant right on the beach, a choice of traditional style thai bungalows or modern concrete apartments.

The Blue Diamond bungalows are well maintained and all have en-suite bathroom and electric fan. Plus, unlike many places around the island, the electric supply is 24 hours. There are two options for visitors, the standard or the special bungalow, some of which offer a beautiful sea-view.


The restaurant area serves up traditional Thai dishes, with all recipes handed down from senior family members, as well as a good selection of western food. However, you're trip to Koh Tao wouldn't be complete without trying the island's speciality, fresh seafood. The Blue Diamond has an excellent choice of squid, crab and fresh fish, so fresh that while you were in the shower, it was probably still swimming around in the island's waters!
