The Resort is located 173 kms (3 hrs) north of Chiang Mai, and 90 kms (1.5 hrs) from Chiang Rai on the banks of the Maekok River, in the Thai-Burma border village of Ban Thaton. Ban Thaton is the traditional halfway point on the north’s most popular tourist route, that which runs between Chiang Mai – The Golden Triangle & Chiang Rai. It is also the boarding point for the well established long tailed boat / bamboo raft / river barge & canoe trips between Ban Thaton & Chiang Rai.

The Resort is set on the outskirts of the village, in 3 acres of landscaped riverside land on the south bank of the river. It is 500 metres downstream from the main road/river bridge. Constructed in modern Thai style from local materials, the resort is designed primarily to cater to families.
