National Park in Southern Thailand ( Khao Sok National park ) Located
190 Kms. north of Phuket Island and high up 900 m. from sea level so
it nearly mosquito free. Green, misty, alive with jungle sounds, and
more than a little mysterious, Khao Sok National Park is south
Thailand premier rainforest reserve. Here lar gibbon call from you
tree top brilliant beaked hornbills fly above the emerald canopy, wild
elephants roam free over lush mountainsides, while tiger, leopard, and
jungle cats stalk their prey by night. More than 48 species of
mammals, 184 species of birds and thousand of tree plants have been
recorded
here. And there are many un-discovery yet to be made. Rafflesia, the
largest flower at 80 cm., was recently found just a short trek from
jungle lodge this is one of only a few places in the world.
The luxuriant tropical forest flora, cascading troughs of fresh water
and welcome shelter of the mountains integrate to provide precious
habitats for a variety of wildlife species. Khao Sok National Park
reserve is this and more ... spectacular waterfalls, aesthetic
limestone formations, cliffs, caves, rare types of vegetation, creeks

AM. Pick up from your hotel in Khao Lak drive over the "Cloud
pass" entering to Khao Sok National Park. ( The Khao Sok National
Park is located 150 Kms. north of Khao Lak and lies 900 M above sea
level (therefore it is nearly mosquito free).
AM.
Arrive at Jungle lodge after check in and relax, later head off for
half day trek walk into the National Park. The route is suitable for
all with a variety of difficult or easier options to suit your needs.
The routes to be walked will be decided upon arrive at tree Jungle
lodge prior to departure when a briefing is held with the guides.
PM.
Return to Jungle lodge dinner and overnight in the National park

2 Jungle adventure - Elephant trekking - River Canoe – Khao Lak ( B,
L)

After breakfast transfer to elephant camp trek by elephant through a
tropical rainforest and waterfall in the National Park (Approx 2 hrs)
12.00
Return to Jungle lodge for lunch.
13.00
After lunch River canoe through a nature to explore along riverside
approx 2 hrs.
15.00
Finish River Canoe return Jungle lodge check out and transfer for Khao
Lak hotel.
